People feel comfortable, their minds and bodies excel, when the design of spaces that are meaningful to them, such as their home and their workplace, align with their personality.
Each personality factor has its own design implications, but those that are particularly important to recognize relate to extraversion-introversion, openness to experience, and conscientiousness.
This home is particularly tuned to support the wellbeing of people who are introverted, open to experience, and conscientious. It does not have an open floorplan and walls are coated in less saturated shades of paint, for instance. The house’s design, inside and out, is novel and aesthetically agreeable. All of its systems (plumbing, heating, etc.) are up-to-date and functional. Spaces are clean, ordered, symmetrical, and well lit.
