Dr. Augustin's goal is to contact you within one working day to begin
• to supply you with the research-based information you need to move forward with your project and/or
• to organize and conduct new research, specifically for your project.
If you require a quicker turnaround time, please let Dr. Augustin know in your message to her, and she will contact you immediately. Airline travel sometimes extends her response time, but if you indicate that you are working on a tight deadline, she will generally e-mail you the same morning or afternoon you send a message to her.
Her business hours are 8 am to 6 pm, EST, Monday thorough Friday and 8 am to noon, EST, on Saturday.
All projects will be completed swiftly and on a schedule that you develop with Dr. Augustin.
Sally Augustin, PhD, is a practicing environmental psychologist, an internationally recognized expert on person-centered design, and a principal at Design With Science. She consults with organizations and individuals to inform optimal design solutions - places where people thrive and objects that they cherish. Dr. Augustin is the author of Place Advantage: Applied Psychology for Interior Architecture (Wiley, 2009) and The Designer’s Guide to Doing Research: Applying Knowledge to Inform Design (with Cindy Coleman, Wiley, 2012).
